Weather in the Faeroes can change rapidly and by the time the shore excursion coaches were ready to depart the sky had darkened and the snow had again begun to fall - VIDEO CAPTURES Malcolm McCrow

Tórshavn Cathedral dates from 1788 but was rebuilt in 1865.  It is situated on the edge of the old town where the traditional black wooden houses have roofs of turf - VIDEO CAPTURES Malcolm McCrow
Many of the houses date from the 16th and 17th centuries and are still in use - VIDEO CAPTURES Malcolm McCrow
The old town is clustered around  Tinganes, the historic location of the Faroese government - VIDEO CAPTURES Malcolm McCrow

After spending most of the day in Tórshavn the ship sailed overnight to Seyðisfjörður  on the east coast of Iceland - VIDEO CAPTURES Malcolm McCrow
