| Edinburgh Castle |
Views of the Castle. After passing through the Argyle Tower you arrive on Argyle Battery and continue towards the One o'Clock Gun. From here you can visit the National War Museum of Scotland and the museums of the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards and of the Royal Scots Regiment. Outside St Margaret's Chapel is Mons Meg and below it is the Dog Cemetery. Other places include the National War Memorial and Great Hall and the chamber containing the Scottish Crown Jewels and Stone of Destinty.
| Royal Mile |
From Holyrood House, the official residence of the monarch when in Scotland we visit the Scottish Parliament at the foot of the Royal Mile, before proceeding up the Mile past the unusual Canongate Kirk to St Giles' Cathedral or High Kirk of Edinburgh - a Scottish Presbyterian church. Nearby is the Mercat Cross and the Camera Obscura.
| Royal Yacht BRITANNIA |
Views of the Royal Yacht now berthed at Ocean Terminal, Leith. The Royal apartments and staterooms contrast with the other parts of the ship which in every respect reflect a British warship of the 1950s. The self-conducted tour starts on the bridge where standard Royal Navy equipment is much in evidence and the wardroom and officers' accommodation are furnished like any RN warship of the period.
