Cruise and Maritime operate a small fleet of chartered vessels.  The MV MAGELLAN was built in 1986 and completely refurbished in 2010.  It joined Cruise and Maritime’s fleet in 2014  - VIDEO CAPTURES Malcolm McCrow

Pilot Vessel LYNX escorts MAGELLAN out to sea. The ship displaces just over 7 000 tonnes deadweight with a gross register tonnage of just over 46 000 tonnes.  It is 728 feet long and can accommodate 1 452 passengers.  It is registered in Nassau in the Bahamas - VIDEO CAPTURES Malcolm McCrow

As we left Tentsmuir and the Old High and Low lighthouses on Budden Ness and approached the Bar, the gale took out its wrath on the pilot vessel.  PV LYNX shipping it green over the bar - VIDEO CAPTURES Malcolm McCrow
